Bookfest Malaysia 2010

Book fest Malaysia 2010 is held from 4th to 12th Sept in KLCC conventional Hall. RM2 per entry except student below 18 yrs old (I remember undergraduates were excepted last year, but this year not). As usual, not only Chinese books are found here, English books are also discounted with respective book retailers. No matter you are book worms or amateurs, you are welcomed the most.

Malones Sooka Sentral

Let's Mr Today introduce an Irish food at Malones Sooka Sentral.

It is located at the center of city - KL central where it is strategically convenience for travelers, as well as loners like myself.

In the daytime, you could taste with their authentic Irish food at their food lounge; while you could take a sip of Guinness at their bar in the midnight.

A chance to gather around pools table with your friends and colleagues is a good idea especially after works.

Beef Burger. A very huge portion for a female. First thought of seeing this dish reminds me the burger at "Cafe World" (facebook cooking games).

Fish and Chips. The fish is rather fresh as you could see the texture of meat while have a cut on it.

Irish fish cake.

Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. Yes, i like cheese and milky sauce. This is the best choice for pasta liker like me :)

Colonel Sausage. Three huge sausages that you couldn't ever imagine. They are as thick as 50cent and as long as one ruler (20cm)..Gosshh..

All in all, Malones are suitable restaurant to have second visits or more in future. The ambient of the restaurant was quite good and the food is worth for the kind of price.

Another experience in car model shooting session with photogMiao and the other colleagues. We came into conclusion that we would present Simon his beloved car photo as his "sampat": 38 presents.

The location was a "no-where" place because we were lost on the way to Lake Garden.

Well, it is a dream of every guys in having a nice car which shows that you've achieved certain level in your life. Not everyone has the opportunity to own this. It has to be a ton of hardship behind it.

He polished his car from original silver to pear-white and black top. Kinda a style.

Time to work hard for Mr.Today, else there will be no tomorrow :)

Wesak Day Malaysia 2010

Ou my Buddha

Is another year of Wesak. Mr Today skipped helping up in FGS this year and joined the largest Wesak celebaration in KL Brickfield: Buddhist Maha Vihara.

Knowing that our prime minister Najib would be there in the morning, Tom and i went to there around 5 or 6. First was for the purpose of skipping the crowd, second was to witness the decorated floats at night.

It was a sunny day, but not until around 5pm. The sky rained heavily and we were on the way to Brickfield via monorial. Keep hoping and wishing that "Ah Sky" and "Ah Dragon" would stop the rain so that the possession could be carried on later.

It was still raining one after another while we reached the temple. Instead of being affected on the unpredictable weather, the crowds and happiness of every Buddhist didn't deteriorated. Some of them bought lotus, some of them bought flowers, some of them received blessing from the monk.

Mr Today and Tom brought our hearts and wills to this meaningful day.

The street of Brickfield was blocked few days in advance for this event. Stalls and vegetarian hawkers were being set up in both side of roads. They were mixed of Indian and Chinese hawkers along the street. Never had this scene before.

The floats started around 7. It was in time we arrived there around 5. It took times for us to shoot photo, loitering around the temple, praying, and took dinner along the side. The bad was we used two polystrene for the dinner plates. So, next time remember to bring own container :p

According to the report of News, there were about 30 floats took part in the possession. They were consisted of Buddhist society all around the Klang Valley.

Initially we didn't plan to finish whole the possession. Thinking the route was too long, departed from Brickfield to Bukit Bintang through Petaling Street, Bukit Nanas, Jalan Pudu. It was 12km long.

We started to shoot photo on every floats at Brickfield. After that we chased the floats from the last one to the first float, just like how the fan chasing superstar from one street to another street. Without knowingly, when we managed to chase back to the first float, we were already in Bukit Bintang. Phew. It was really fast.

Along the road, devotees voluntarily provides us drinks, candles and flags. This made us feel embarrassed on ourselves if we stopped half way on the possession.

Ok la.. Then we said to ourselves that no matter how we also must finish it. Under the name of Buddha, we joined the crowds and marched back to Brickfield.

If you asked me"would u feel tired?" , I would say"not at all".

If you asked me "is your leg like wanna break after 12km", i would say"no also.. i have my new sport Oasis shoes" :P

If you asked me "will we join again next year", i would say "yeah. Why not. It was fun when walking in crowd"

When reached Brickfield, it was approaching 10 at night. It was time to say "Goodbye" to Siddharta Buddha. We returned the goodwill of whole journey to ourselves, people who need it and the world for staying peace.

Mammi day

Mother's day is approaching soon. This year not going to give any flower delivery as before, as she said it was not realistic. She prefer more realistic things like platinum necklace, facial treatment, money.. LOL

Apart from materialistic, do you ever tell mom, "i love you" before? I think i dont say before.
For Asian culture like us, we hardly express ourselves in words. Unlike western who say "i love you" to parent and even kiss, hug them everyday. If u kiss or hug your mom, they will thought something has gone wrong. Probably need to consult consultant. :P

Anyhow, the "bond" is still the same although it is expressed in many ways. Do appreciate your parent when you still have the chance. Do it while just only say it.

It reminded me the love of a mom that i still don't know when i was a baby.

This is her little baby, is named Raina, means beautiful. Only 2 weeks old, so still reddish and small.

"Mumm..Mummm" She likes to do a lot of stretching (a simpton of future master yoga or dancer )

Taking the photo makes me thought of my mom, as i was the first born in the family. Sure i've given a lot of troubles to you for these so long and would like to say thanks for your patient and teaching.

Thanks for raising me up this far. Would like you to share my success and joy. Thanks for everything in the universt.

握紧

小时候都是握紧妈妈，害怕会与妈妈走失。长大了，却渐渐觉得妈妈管的太严，要空间，要自由。

一段可歌可泣的感情，好不容易才能握紧对方的双手，诉说天长地久。日子久了，却慢慢觉得握得太紧，要求对方留给自己一些空间。

一些人握紧自己的理想，梦想，一直往上爬，向跨出自己的一片天空。　也有一些人却对自己的不幸遭遇，唾骂上天的不平，放弃了握紧的机会。　

有一些事必须握紧，如何都不可放弃。尽管失去了一切，也不可轻易放弃。

握紧每一秒生存的机会
　　　　即使被追到了深崖边，山上有老虎，山下有狮子，生命时时刻刻受到危险，也有逃脱的机会。一群换上癌症的小朋友，他们是多么的热爱生命。　个个都有自己的梦想，　有的想成为音乐家，有的是考上大学的医生。为什么身体健全的我们，不能热爱生命呢。地铁的门响了，一贯了一半，还是有人要趁一时之快，挤进去。如果那个门没有sensor, 地铁直接走呢，头和脚肯定在几秒之内分撕。爱刺激的年轻人，到激流划船，非法赛车，万一不小心　撞到了神经线，半身不遂，辛苦了自己，也辛苦了家人。还是三思了，在三思。　

握紧每一刻报恩的机会
　　　百善孝为先。孝是每个孩子为了报答父母之恩，在父母有生之年尽一份孝道，让他们享福。可是千万不可愚孝。父亲偷了羊，犯了法，儿子仍不分事非黑白，为维持「父子」的權力高低關係，而替父親隐瞒。女兒覓得有情郎，但因為不敢违抗父令，嫁給不喜欢的人，令情郎鬱病而死。這就是「百孝不如一『順』」。愚蠢的孝顺却会还了自己，害了父母，也害了他人。　

握紧每一段缘聚的时光
　　　　不是每一天都可以预见某一个人。不是每一天可以向你爱的人说：“我爱你”。　也不是每一　天都可以为他准备早餐，为他唱歌，为他付出。把握每一段人与人之间的感情，不管是阿dii或阿gor，新情侣，老妻老夫，都是几世修来的福气。大家都说：“有缘千里来相会，无缘见面不相逢”，既然大家都有缘在一起，怎么不珍惜，怎么不能到永远呢。

握紧每一个学佛的机会
　　　　　人生难得，佛法难闻。闻到佛法是机缘，这个机缘非常难得。今天全世五十几亿人口，有几个人在一生当中听到佛法？现在佛法在全世界信徒也就2亿人，还不到1/20。而这些信奉佛教徒的人中，又有多少真正明白什么是佛教？什么是佛法？再看看寺庙里是去烧香求佛保佑的香客多，还是真正去礼佛的多？而这些熟悉佛教经典的人中又有多少人是真的想做佛而不是求来世人天福报？所以很难！亿万分之一都不到，闻佛法的机缘实在不容易。

有很多大学教授买《大藏经》在家里看，研究参考，但他不相信，不信也是枉然！能信，信了之后又不愿意修行，那也不行。信了之后要发愿，有愿，又不肯行，或者肯行，行了又不努力，进进退退。这样一层一层地淘汰，剩下来没几个人。闻了之后，又能理解、又相信、又发愿、又努力地依教奉行，没几个人，而且还要传承，才有希望成就。

FGS Dongzen CNY 2010

城郊有座私人花园，亭台楼阁，鸟语花香。主人是一位虔诚的佛教徒，他用宝石、珍珠等七宝，塑了一尊观世音菩萨圣像供奉，庄严无比。

天色已晚，有一只赛鸽飞得疲倦了，停在菩萨的脚下，准备休息一晚隔天飞回去夺冠。睡到半夜，一个东西掉下来，硬硬凉凉的。鸽子想：「下雨了吗？」一看，不是雨水，而是一颗宝石。

它想：「这一定是观音菩萨慈悲，要我代他送给贫苦的人。」鸽子衔起宝石，投进一户清寒人家。它觉得应该跟菩萨有所交待，于是飞回了菩萨的脚下。

不久又掉下来一颗珍珠，想到这是观音菩萨救度众生的愿心，鸽子没有犹豫，振起翅膀，衔了珍珠继续飞出去。「我还是要回到菩萨那里，表示对这桩任务负责。」鸽子又回到菩萨的座下。

第二天清早，赛鸽鼓着饱满的翅膀准备上路。才要离开，观音菩萨的身上又落下一颗珍珠。鸽子停了下来，心里想：「一定是菩萨的信任，知道我可以达成任务，所以把送珍珠的事托付给我。啊！和菩萨度众的慈心悲愿比起来，功名奖项又算得了什么呢？我不回去了！」就这样，菩萨掉下一颗珍珠宝石，鸽子就衔起一颗珍珠宝石。从黑夜到白昼，从夏天到冬天，此一来彼一往，到最后，观音菩萨翠玉做的眼珠子都掉了下来，成了一尊瞎眼的塑像。

冬去春来，主人来到观世音菩萨像前：「哎呀！怎么变得这么丑，我得把它整理整理。」他一弯身想要拆除，却在菩萨的脚下，看到一只枯瘦僵硬的鸽子。他丝毫没有考虑，拿起来便往旁边的草丛一丢，走了！

星云大师说到：「观音是菩萨，鸽子也是菩萨，菩萨就是这样无怨无悔、义无反顾，没有人知道他做什么！」

新年的来临，各位义工菩萨凭着大师的“鸽子”的精神，把东禅寺翻新一番，以好让参观者能够抛开世俗的烦恼，也认识到大师的人间佛教。各位义工都默默地奉献，也没有人知道他在做什么。只有自己知道。　虽然是忙得很辛苦，连用斋（吃饭）的时间也没有，可是看到能为大众付出，能使大众充满法喜，什么都是值得的。　当给人欢喜，个人快乐，　无形中也会得到快乐。这种快乐非世俗之乐，非物质之乐，而是无可形容的法乐。鸽子也如此。

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone

新年快乐。虎虎生威，虎年吉祥。祝福大家幸福，社会和平，威德福海

This year I composed an CNY MTV with my dear colleagues, called as “Prosperity Star Shine in the Sky”:　 “福星高高照”　, can say Chinese version of “twinkle twinkle little star” J Hope this video can drag you into CNY hottest, happiest atmosphere.

I am quite satisfied with the MTV created. Many aspect can be improved, but I am really appreciate the “WILD” n SS “Syiok Sendiri” groups of colleagues.

The title i named it purposely because i always sang terbalik (dont know why) and ended up everyone followed me ..LOL..

We really enjoyed ourselves and have fun throughout the MTV making. Spent 3 hours in doing this 3 minutes clips, excluded before and after preparation and editing time. However, when saw everybody (especially actors and actresses) like the movie and have drowned into CNY mood, all the hard works were worth.

At first everyone was shy especially the passed-by slowed down their car and looked at us during video shooting at outdoor. The gals were really heated after that and acted very professional, while for the guys (include me) keeps forgetting lyrics and very woody. Haha.. Nvm la.. this is jus a SS casting, the important is we are all enjoy.

Json made two MV for M-group and 南方寺. Have a look at their mtv too J

Lastly, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. Be as WILD as Tiger, Be as popular as Tiger and be as POWERFUL as Tiger. Deeply wishing everyone.

Place to go 1: Hatyai City
Description: A happening junction for few shopping centers combining few streets. Crowds can be seen flooding the junctions throughout the day and night. Retail shops, shopping centers, as well as hawkers can be seen along the roadside.
Things to you can do or eat here:
Day time:

Hang around at junctions for several shopping center for example Odeon Shopping Center, Central Shopping Center
Go to the hypermarket to hunt for Thai food like bread, Thai yogurt drink and junk food :)
Must try pork leg rice : 猪脚饭
Must try swallow nest at Burapha Bird's Nest or shark's fin : 东方燕窝：鱼翅 : a restaurant between Odean and Centre: easy to notify due to the big brand
Must try sticky durian or mango rice from the stalls along the roadside
Must try Mc Pork @ Mc Donald Thai if you haven't tried any Mc Pork before in M'sia.

Night time:

Hang around the open stall in front of Odean shopping center. There are souvenirs, sticky rice, Thai's hotdogs and fishball, and baked octopus
Enjoy parade or performance on the street
Drink beers with friends ( i didn't do )
Night clubs (i dont know :P i m a very innocent guy)

Tips of this area:

There will have a lot of duk-duk in this area instead if u are lost or wanna go other place.
The traffic here is severe especially evening 6 to 8pm. Don't drive if can. Walk or take duk-duk.

Place to go 2: Hatyai Old Market
Description: A marketplace about 15 mins "duk-duk" drive from Odean shopping center. It opens from morning till evening 6pm. It is the place you shopping spree and bargain spree. Normally people like to buy shirts, jeans, bags, Thailand oilment 风油， black raw rice, and nuts like hassle nuts. Again, come to the technique of bargain, refer to the post 1.
Things to you can do or eat here:

Burgain and buy
Burgain and buy again until your leg cramp then only sit down:)

Tips of bargain in this area:

The feller will certainly kill you first with heaven price. Then decrease for you a bit when you ask for it. If you are too shy to bargain, you are just like a little mouse given a cheese in a mouse trap.
If you are a smart mouce like "Jerry", you might able to play "Tom" around. If you don't like the price offered, you can pretend go away or show the expression of "expensive". If the feller wanna do your business, for sure he will reduce the price. If not, just let it be. There are still for sure many nicer and sweeter grapes for you in other stall. Don't worry :)
Advise to go at last day, i.e. morning time while you are planning to return during afternoon. You at least spend more then 3 hours there if you do really shop.

Place to go 3: Siang Tung Temple
Description: An organisation of "take care" of the death of lone ranger or the poor for coffin. Yes. Coffin. You can donate one coffin for 300Bath for them or donate any amount for the sick in their medical fund.

My cousins who playing along with me since small. Used to drink milk together with milk togehter. Now, already at the age of mating :)

Place to go 4: 4 face buddha (Brahma Statue)
Description: 4 face buddha, buddha statue and Kuan Imm are located on a hill of Hat Yai Municipal Park. Hat Yai Municipal Park is a recretion area for people of Hatyai. It is surrounding by ponds, plants, flowering and food stalls. At night, it has lantern festival to attrack tourists. Due to the tight schedule, we didn't go there instead. It is about 40 minutes of "duk-duk" drive from the Hatyai City.

Brahma Statue is on the top of the other. You can observe whole Hatyai view here. There plenty golden elephant surrounding Brahma statue donated by devotees. A giant Buddi tree is also planted beside the temple.

Things to you can do or eat here:

Take breathtaking Hatyai scenary with blue sky
Praying and shooting again
Ready to get sweat.
Burn firecrackers

Tips of this area:

If you take duk-duk, not much of duk-duk willing to go this place. It is because it is up on hill. If you lucky like us, because of my mom's friend's friend's husband is a duk-duk driver, he drove us up to the hill with his little duk-duk. Very pity for his duk-duk while going up hill. Thanks to him again.

Place to go 5: Phra Buddha Mongkol Maharaj
Description: Huge buddha statue is next stop after Bhrama Statue. Aside from the golden buddha, the surrounding building is still on-going. From buddha statue, you can see Kuan Yim below. It forms similar layer of heaven in the sky.

Things to you can do or eat here:

Take photo again with buddha. Can feel the closeness of buddha in heaven.
Can present lotus if you want :)

Place to go 6: Kuan Imm (Bodhisattva Kuan Yim)
Description: Following Buddha statue, is Kuan Imm statue. There is a white Kuan Yim facing to Hatyai City. Seems like Buddha and Kuan Yim are blessing whole Hatyai city for the well being. There are a lot of bells donated by devotees. Aside from that, a big dragon mouth with laughing buddha is also a part of attraction of this place.

Things to you can do or eat here:

Take photo again and rest under the Kuan Yim after long journey and hot day.

Inside dragon mouth signifies in bringing good in the belief.

Place to go 7: Wat Naja

Description: On the way out from Munipical Park, there is a big "Nan Pu Thuot" on the road side. I didn't shoot any photo on it :P

Place to go 8: Ang Chan Tong Temple
Description: This is famous of a mumified monk in a glassed closed coffin. It said the his hair and nail are still growing although the body is dead. No photo taken in this temple too.

Place to go 6: Monkey King Temple 齐天大圣
Description: A 齐天大圣 temple with the decorations like heaven, such like artificial waterfall where Monkey King like to stay in 水帘洞，golden turtle, golden snake, trees and flowers.

Things to you can do or eat here:

You must try the Ice-cream sold at the door of Monkey King Temple. It is superb. Different with the ordinary ice-cream that we had here. Besiding the nuts as topping, it has seacoconut 海底椰，mixing with sweet potatoes on the middle layer. On the bottom layer, it has bread and sticky rice. Ou goshhh.. Damm GOOD. You can try it at home :P

Place to go 7: Hatyai Night Market
Description: Again, this is a place to shop like morning market. The unique of this market is selling second hand item. Almost half of the market selling used items, especially shoes for both genders. A lot. Again, i dont have photo on this :P

Place to go 8: Klong Hair Floating Market
Description: This is a place that you must go if you in hatyai. It essentially is a water market which sell food. It opens from 5pm onwards till 8pm. All of the food are 20Bath, equilvalent to RM2, drinks, tit-bits, mee, rices and so on. It a good experience for people who hasn't visit to this kind of floating market before. Feel the enthusiatism of Thai.

Things to you can do or eat here:

You come, you see and you buy.Then eat on the spot.

Tips of this area:

You have to be careful on pick-pocket. During the moment of making your move in crowd or squading down to take food, there are possible pick-pocketslip into your handbag or pant withdrawing your wallet without knowingly. While enjoying hunt for food, remember to be careful.
Some of the drinks or food come with a nice seramic container with plenty of shapes: ultraman, doreamon, goose, and etc. It costs you 10Bath for that on top of the original price.

It was evening but the crowd was non-stop.

Before that, Sadao is a place after checkpoint. There is a small point.
My mom's friend teach us how to pronouce it, it is "sa1 dao1" with first level of tone of madarine, same long.
Things to eat : Remember to buy roasted red chicken or stimmed corns at the thai checkpoint when go back. It was very big for one piece. I was too busy eat until forget to shoot photo :P

This was my travelar schedule for 3 days and 2 nights:
Day 1

Check in at Hatyai Hotel at afternoon
Take bath and walk around Hatyai City for whole afternoon
Visit to Hatyai Old Market (spent about 2 hours until before dinner)
Take dinner and loiter at Hatyai City for the night performance

Day 2

After breakfirst, San Tung Temple
Bharma Statue, Buddha, Kuan-Imm and Wat Naja (spent whole morning)
After lunch, Ang Chan Tong Temple, Monkey King Temple until about 4pm
Proceed to Floating Market, which will spend more than 2 hours (travelling + eating)
Night market

Day 3

Shop again at Hatyai old market
Loiter at Hatyai City

Hatyai : a city in Thailand, approximately less than 40 mins drive from bukit kayu hitam.
For people who want to shop, yes, you can go there.

Dont be afraid of cannot speak thai, most of the seller know how to speak mandarin, except few local thai. It is the time u show off the ability to bargain, else you prepare to be chopped.

Tips: If the seller doesn't know how to speak in mandarin, very easy too. For lower price, you show the sign of "short". To ask for the price, show the sign of $$ :)

Tips: If you come to a food stall an dont know whether is beef, mutton or chicken, very easy. Jus show :) For chicken, u show the chicken wings flipping; for beef, sound "mu muu"; for mutton, sound "mek meeek"; for pork, the most easy, push up your nose. :)

Transportation to Hatyai: You can hire a van from penang to hatyai (easier), cost 60 per head for two ways. (pretty cheap). If you want to drive to bukit kayu hitam and take shuttle van from there, it is fine too. However you might have to walk about 1km distance from Malaysia checkpoint to Thailand checkpoint if can't get a van at Malaysia checkpoint.

Transportation within Hatyai: Duk-duk is the best choice to go along town within Hatyai. It costs 20BTH or 15BTH (if you make friend with the duk-duk driver). However, if want to go more futher, hire van or car has to be considered due to the weather and limitation of duk-duk to travel so far.

Duk-duk is jus like a motor trishaw, it has no horse power to climb up hill (especially for the place like Guanyin or Buddha, which are on the hill). Thus, beware of that if you're considering duk-duk for whole journey.

Hotel: After some surveys and reviews, the cheapest budget hotel in the town is V.L. Hatyai hotel, following with Sakura Grand View Hotel and Golden Crown Plaza Hotel. They are above 3 stars. For luxury hotel, can go for New Seasons and Lee Gardens, which are above 4 stars. You can book online through reliable agents like sawadee.com and hotelthailand.com. The listed hotels are in the town, which do not require any travel from the town, which strategically for "night" activities for youngsters. :)

For this travel, family and I stayed in a budget motel which is near to my mom's friend's friend salon, called "Century Hotel".

p/s: My mom's friend is a thai. :)

The disadvantage is quite far away from town (about 8km) and have to travel frequently between the town and the hotel.

The advantage is cheap lo.. only RM100 for 2 nights, exclude breakfirst. Because of my mom's friend's friend, we have cheap duk-duk to travel throughout the vacation. Quite a different adventure from sitting in a proper vehicle all the while.

Observation 1: There are many Malaysian or Singaporean stays in Thailand and become a Thai. For example, aunty below who "fetch" her dog daily. She is able to speak mandarin well. She was a singaporean and marry to a Thai and lives here.

A ex-singaporean aunty, now become a thai and speak a mouth of fluence Thai.

Observation 2: There are at least one bowl of water plants planted in front of each shop. Such as water lilly, lotus, and water grass. It seems like a trend for everyone to put at least one big bowl of water plant with fishes with it. My mom said probably this is "feng sui" for them because of "water" means money .

Observation 3: They are undoubtedly patriotic. They love their king and queen. King and queen protraits are placed everywhere, in restaurant, in front of shops, in shopping center. The flags are hung all over the placed as seems everday was their national days.

Feliz Navidad @ year 2009

Felix Navidad means Merry Christmas in Spanish.

From a tradisional day celebrated by Christians for the born of Jesus, it has been widely accepted and celebrated for all kind of people, not only among Christian. It has been evolved to an event which gathers friends along and has fun together.

None of people is not influenced by the happy atmosphere of Christmas, nor I myself.
Xmas reminds myself my Canon EOS has reached 1 year old. No regret of living for so long, no regret for happiness which come to this realm.

Will proceed back to Penang to have a few days holiday, a rest for myself and prepare for the next dash before CNY.

May I wish everyone of you have a nice Christmas. Whether Green, White, Yellow or Red Christmas, you will have a wonderful Rainbow Christmas this year.

May the happiness and colourful of lights and cheers feed your soul. Allow the joyful softens hassle and tiredness of daily life. Allow yourself to be wild for a night like this :)

又是一个没在家的星期
奉献给一群天真可爱的小朋友

这些小朋友离开了爸爸，妈妈的呵护
自己穿鞋，自己冲凉，自己吃饭
一起过着团体的生活
奇怪的是，没有一个人赖床，没有一个人喊着冷气吹
钟声一敲，大叫都自然起床
自是晚上有点兴奋，睡不着。到了12 点，还是闹哄哄的。
但是，在罗叔叔催眠之下，不到5分钟，全部都到周公里去玩了。

印象最深刻的是皮影戏制作和表演。
小朋友们都玩得不亦乐乎。
有大便，有狗屎，又牛粪之类的创作
有潮州，有马来语，也有英文的旁白
把星云大师的一生沥沥呈现出来

缺吹的小鸡，心意最重要，悉发菩提心，半碗咸菜
相信都种在大家的田地里，等着发芽，得着成长
带回去的相信不只是一张照片，而是充满菩提心的小种子

Tibetan Sacred Art Tour 2009 Malaysia

Mr. Today is going to share some photo taken on Dharma Teaching on Friday night with the title of Tibetan Sacred Art Tour. Could say is my first time joining such Tibetan praying and chanting as i joined FGS.

Except that the language is different, teaching of Buddha is the main concept to delivered during the talk.
There are some photo i would like to share.

There are Eight Auspicious Sign point to qualities of enlightened mindstream, but they are the investiture that ornaments these enlightened 'qualities'. They are: The precious Umbrella, Pair of golden fish, White Conch, (Second row), Treasure Vase, Lotus, (Last row) Infinite knot, Victory Banner and wheel. The designs could be seen at the hall itself.

The most important aspect of each exhibit will be creation of a traditional Sand Mandala – an ancient art form of Tibetan Buddhism.

Mandalas are drawings in sand of the world in its divine form and represent a map by which the ordinary human mind is transformed into the enlightened mind. The creation of Sand Mandalas takes place over four to seven days, beginning with special prayers and chanting ceremonies. They work all day placing sand practically grain by grain as they create these incredibly rare forms of art and faith.

Upon completion of the Mandala the monks hold a dismantling ceremony whereby the Mandala is blessed a final time and the grains of sand are swept up into a pile – erasing the once beautiful work of art. This is also to serve a reminder of impermanence of life, a Buddhist teaching.

Some of the sand is given to people present, as a small blessing for their home or gardens, and the remainder is taken to a nearby body of water where it is poured into the moving water which carries the prayers and blessings throughout the earth.

爱我青年2009 巴生分团

这一次3 天两夜的爱我青年生活营终于圆满结束了

与往日不一样，这次的爱我主办在南方寺，而不是郊外。

这也是我第二次当中学生的“辅导员”，不同的是已“老” 了一岁，也有超峰的相伴：）

虽然一开始大家都很陌生，害臊自我表达，但到了第二天，却合作得非常投契，真令我欣慰。

看到大家的沸腾，令我觉得没白费我的一番功夫。孺子可教也。

这是我的“大智”组：由文殊师利菩萨的大智命名。那么，大智组应该很有大智是不是，就取了一个很有“大智”的口号:
　“天大地大我最大，天摇地摇我不摇。
大智大，大智大，大智，大智，我最大，ou ..Yess ! ”

这群小瓜有的调皮，有的非常文静，有的爱跑出其他的组，有的只是喜欢一个人独自坐在那边。非常难带的一个组。

还好，他们都很乖，没有令我失望。令我安慰的每一个组员都不是草莓族，也不是豆腐脑。来到出坡，大家都很合作地打理地方，也没有半句怨言。听到其他队长对他队员的烦恼，有十指不沾阳春水的千金，有被家里宠坏的少女，等等。真令人不惜摇头叹汉。

大家最喜欢的是团康，讲到游戏，有精神奕奕，讲到要上课，都想一条奄奄一息的鱼。。呵呵。。。都明白。。我也不喜欢古老的上课，非常闷，非常爱睡。

半途有营员病了，幸好有佛法的加被下，看了医生，吃了药，在第二天也好了许多。

对于大智文殊师利菩萨，没有很深的了解。当天只是从文章上和大家分享。也因此对文殊菩萨有新的一个了解。这是其他尊贵的辅导员：大智，　大行，大悲，　大愿。　

来匆匆，去也匆匆。　３天不是很长，也很短。　当大家混在一起的时候，也是结营的时候。

天下没有不散的筵席，希望这群小瓜快乐的成长，将来为社会，为佛教，为佛光，出一份力量。

今日午餐

好一个星期六
自己动手动脚做个午餐
所以就弄出了主食和配菜，两道食物。
色，香，味还蛮满意的

供了佛，法，僧，也供了这个臭鼻囊，
最后，以图片供大家

首先是以金黄色为主的 “金碧辉煌”。

金碧辉煌

用金瓜为主，以姜调出南瓜鲜甜的味道。一丝一丝的南瓜，和南瓜本身的带有口感的性质，非常适合熬成上汤。再以姜去处南瓜的腥味和 “风” 性，使南瓜味道提升到另一层次。
再配搭上QQ的意大利面，配料简单，健康和无防腐剂。好过罐头里的意大利酱。

配菜是“心聚一堂”

心聚一堂

心聚一堂是以菜心为主。菜心是经过“酵素” 的清洗和浸过后以去除农药。少许的蘑菇和鱼饼在小火炒之下，引出菜心的新鲜。不需要葱头，也不需要蚝油。重口味可令清单的菜心流失原味。少许的盐却可调出味道，毕竟鱼饼已带咸。

宁可每天吃外边高味精，高胆固醇的拉杂食物，倒不如亲自动手，弄出一两碗的爱心小食，与家人，朋友，爱人聚一聚。谈一谈世间风雨，何尝不是人间一幢乐事。

三好运动

三好运动：做好事，说好话，存好心

要信解行证，谈何其难。

人性的转变，好比云彩的变化。不知是环境的影响，还是朋友的熏陶；不知是人事的领悟，还是成长的负影，一个直率的交谈，也可能成为毒蛇巨龙。一个没有机心的话，在不同的耳朵下，不同的心态下，分分中变成计划着什么夺君杀父的阴谋。

有人说看人说人话，看狗学狗吠！应该看风使舵。。

那么，到底是说话的人不视投机，还是听的人没有一个正见的心。

即使是身边的好友，以为他是你的耳朵，他是你的眼睛，他是你的心腹，就可以无可不谈，诉诉无人知道的苦。但是，却忘记的云彩似的变化，说话也要看风使舵，也好投其所好。

星云大师说:　人有一双眼，一个鼻子，两个耳朵，一张嘴，可见的要多看，多听，话还是少说一些。在必要的时候才说。　看应该看的东西，听应该听的东西，说应该说的话。

真是不简单。　要信解并行，非一有个道心不可。　

Company Lunch

It is company welfare to feed us fat in mentally and in physically approximately 3 months once. For sure everyone is waiting for this day to come.

Yesterday was our company lunch again. Instead of varieties of pizza again, things had changed this time. Another style had been served.

A English style or a University student diy style. You will know what is Uni student diy style.

While everyone was busy do food arrangement, i was busy prepared my tuperware and chopstick. LOL. Can't wait for tat. Pai seh pai seh
That was why you can't see me in the picture. LOL. For your info, these picture were taken by two other colleagues and myself. They mixed up together.
Simon and Cheryl were busying prepare plates and food display.
Almost all the food was prepared by Azalea. Our office celebrity.

Now, everything was well prepared. As shown in the picture, that was curry mutton and sardin.
Spaghetti was the hottest star during the lunch. It was sooo fast be snapped and finished.
While the partner of spaghetti was this - the Alfredo Carbonara sauce. It was tasty as comparable to 5 stars hotel quality. Prawns were added in the alfredo caused increased the juiciness and sweetness of Alfredo. Nice combination. Another mushroom source for this spaghetti, however it was not so welcomed compare to Alfredo.
Small carrots were also prepared to make own salad.

Mango cake, again for this celebration. Why i said again, cause i had it within one month. Now was the second time.
Toasted bread as well as the ingredient to make our own sandwiches.
There were hams, scrambled eggs, and hot dogs..
and bunzz too
One of our colleague, Fang Liang, was so creative, and innovative. Well, that why we were researhcer ;) He made a cheesed toasted bread for us. It was superb.

The cheese was the key point it tasted so yummy. Although the steps were pretty easy, the taste never far behind from bread story.
This was the result of baked cheesed bread.
Fruits for sure will be prepared to smooth and sweet our tongue and stomach for the last food.

Small Catfish vs Big Sardin Fish

Thanks to TVB drama, i know this term "Catfish Effect".
You may laugh me too indulge in drama watching, but i felt this really brings meaningful lesson to me.

Nonetheless, it has to be twisted and suited into different scenario in order to use it wisely.

It is very theoretical where Catfish excites Sardine fish to continue swim by knowing there are intruders. However, what I have faced is the Sardine fish is so big and afraid of them. I know that they are almost die, not aggressive, unproductive. But I gave hope to them to initiate to service themselves because they are larger in size than me, where they are more experience, more persuasive, more high level, compare to me is a small catfish that trying to excite each of the sardine fish. At the end, it can’t help. This is the problem giving too much freedom, too much space to individual. It ends up everyone didn’t feel the closer of dangerous, don’t prepare to battle, do not productive. Probably those sardine fishes have own things to do, however, I don’t feel so

In order to become a clever catfish, I've decided to give orders and excite them with an indirect way. I want to try to be a catfish, which able to help everyone to growth, cheer up those idle mode and holiday mode. No matter how big in size he/she is, I want to stir up the chemical to stimulate them! Instead of waiting and be passive, I want to be more aggressive and proactive

Of course, not so easy to be a clever catfish, has to know whole flow of how the system works in order to excite and give orders. I will not afraid and be patient anymore. Is time to start before it is too late. I don’t to be a sardine fish like u all. I want to be a CATFISH !!!

Moon Sweet Moon

This year Mr Today managed to back Pg for his mid-autumn festival celebration

It has been decades I didn't play lantern already with cousins and family. So the time has come. As far as I concern, no people pray for the MOON. Only up to that day since I am small, no people pray for the moon. Probably this is the believe of "Teo-chiew".

Nonetheless, I also release that day Chinese Lunar Mid-autumn is also birth of 月光遍照菩萨. For your information, "月光遍照菩萨" is one of trio 东方三圣 of Medical Buddha "药师佛”．　

My twin cousins who were standard 5 kept play candles and fire, instead of playing lanterns. Kids.

These lantern remind me my childhood. We ( my cousin and I) used to have homemade big lanterns. I meant big.. which as tall as kinder garden kid.
We joined lantern competitions and won price too. But now, they are already in rubbish bin for long time ago.
No choice, i gonna rampas lanterns with cousins. :)
Mid-autumn festival can also known as a union for all of the family members. We sure will have makan-makan and chit-chat sessions throughout the night.
My grandma, thanks goodness that she has recovered better from her long battle sickness.

Now is my mom homemade mooncake. I jus only shoot some of that. May the picture fest ur eye :)

Another year of mid-autumn festival is approaching.

Mr. Today will back to hometown this year. It has been long time didn't back to Pg to play lanterns and drink tea together with family.

Look at the night where the moon is almost full, and songs in Tom page tempt me towards the the moment celebrating this tradisional and meaningful event. As we all know, is time to be together again when is full moon. 月圆，人团圆。

Is true that people like me who stay far away from hometown will miss the family especially during such occasion.

2009 MMU FOE Interns in BT

Following another batch of MMU interns from their day 1 to their last day. Indicating I am going to an antique in BT , since my intern back in 2007/2008 year. It is undeniable that every interns enjoys their first working life in here BT. You probably know why... We have free meal frequently from BT We work in flexible hour..no need to worry pack with others in the hectic traffic We can wear jeans ..no need iron formal shirt everyday We can experience the weather exactly in UK..although we are now in the center of KL. We are surrounded by a group of cute, smart, fun lengzai, lenglui employees.. and the list goes on.. The different of this batch MMU interns compare to my time of intern was there is a SLR camera around :) That is why we could take lot of fun photo around the company. You probably will know why i say so if u scroll down to my internship photo :) OK la..we (Ah Miao and I) syiok sendiri also while interns were busying shoot photo around on their last day and last hour. Wayne is the representative of this batch interns. Look..he leads everyone posts this Thousand Hand.. He even plays a boss character among the interns. This is the youth memories that passed by everyone of us while we are busy everyday for life and works. Taking photo in front of the BT logo is a must for every farewell. This proves that u've been in BT once before. With these photos, it proves that you step on the BT carpet once awhile before. It also proved that you battle together with your colleagues before.

I found this photo after some digging. Look.. how young i was :) jus a bit hair cut if compare to now. Probably u notice there were a group of lenglui permanent staffs on the right.

Ok le..some of my fren has joined top electronic company, one of them become a pilot, one of them joined networking field. So..this batch of intern, what will you be like?

This homemade cake was prepared by Mr. Kum and Mr. Coule (he helped). It was made of biscuit (if not mistaken). The textual is nice, very fragrant.

甘先生的蛋糕果然可以 “lam” 死说有女生，包括男生，还有那些aunty 都要败在他的3 分子裤下。

多说一句，有我妈妈的蛋糕的味道。哈哈！

瑜伽燄口功德總迴向法會

Initially thought not to take any photos this year, but still shot here and there at the end when reached there.

Just going to show some settings on the backdrops and tables arrangement for 迴向法會.
Especially the food :)

Volunteer : "Ei, why u prepare these three cake so small"
while pointing to the cakes with label 佛 , 法, 僧.
Cook : "The table is so big..sure my cakes look small lo"
"No ppl tell me the table is soooo big"
"I mah prepare standard size cake lo"

Indeed, the arrangement was looked very empty due to the table was too huge.

Lots of food, sweets, tite-bites, packet drinks, dried food, were arranged nicely around the paper pagoda. All of them were donated by devotees hoping to support daily needs for all the Sangha here.

This book talks about Life of Master Hsing Yun attached with photos in his life. Described in both Chinese and English. Really grateful that have chance for owning this.

The book was about 3kg and sealed with gold color. Very grand. Seems like it was wedding book.

Vegetarian Hunt in PJ

First time post up my ugly words. Is quite huge : width approximate 1meter and 0.5meter. So, u can imagine how big the words are :) This four words are hung on the common hall. Sure my housemate said tat i have something mismatched in the mind already..LOL..

Back to the food hunt. Today was vegetarian food hunt in KL. Two places

First is Organic Vegetarian Fresh Mart and Restauran at SS18 Subang Jaya.

This shop is fulled with antique ornaments which creates a different surrounding compare with other vegetarian or organic shops.

You can go for normal well-cooked vegetarian food, but you can go for their food menu if you are first time visitor. Price is reasonable with the amount of food.

Highly recommand for Soup type. You will be shocked while a big bowl of soup is served to you. The bowl is as biggg as ur face. LOL..

My father couldn't help himself from picking

My mom selected Bayam Udon. She likes it.
I choosed Braised Udon, which tasted like Wat-Tan-Hor..

Father choosed Miso Udon. Of course, there are many other courses, such as sweet sour vegetarian meat rice, bitter guard rice and etc. Besides the food, they sell organic food too, for example organic honey, sunflower seeds, brown rice, organic papaya, organic vegetables, organic papaya, oils, and charcoal.

Direction:
1. Second exit if you drive from Pyramid
2. Drive ahead and pass the first junction
3. You should notice a green shop name "Organic Vegetarian Fresh Mart and Restauran" on your left. Two shoplots.
4. Lastly, make a left turn in front in order to enter the shop lots.

Next pit stop will be 南京閣素飯店 Nanking Court Vegetarian Restaurant at PJ Jln 19/3.
Well, this shop will has higher environment settings compare to the previous restaurant where they have nicer table cover and chairs, warmer services from the waiters, and even cleaner washroom..LOL

Of course, the price is slightly high pricy. Nonetheless, they have discount for the member or 10% discount for HSBC master or visa credit card user.

Let's go into the pictures.
Notice on the settings that have illustrated.

Ou yeah.. This appetizer costs RM4 and RM 10++. :P Returned to them if you dislike these appetizers . I was amazed when see they provides numbers of chillies ...
Now comes to the main courses. Look at the food presentation. Ain't they look appetizing? If you are covered up, u might confuse this vegetarian fish fin soup with the real one..:P U will definitely wonder is it artificial taste(Aginomoto) or it is the mixture of those dried bean. We order all normal food, doesn't go for those special recommended dish like monkey mushroom la..vegetarian duck la.. vegetarian chicken la..n so on.

Normal Claypot Taufu... Serving with brown rice. The servings are undeniable excellent. OK la..with this kind of service and price. :) Somebody will sure say don't let the price ruin your food. Dont judge the food by the price. OK lo..

U might wanna go and try, then u will know what i mean :)

1. If you come from SS2, drive to the direction of Sin Jiew Daily Newspaper company.
2. The shop is on the corner before you turn into roundabout.
3. It is on the left if you drive from SS2.
4. Big shop name can be easily noticeable from the road side. :)

What flu also have. Normal flu, sick flu, swine flu, bird flu.
Don't think that you are strong and protected by GOD.

Today finally Mr brace up himself to go specialist for his BLACK thumb.

U know where he get froM? because DAVID JONE give it. Same black mark with Captain Sparrow.

This is the result after 6 days evolved from no swell to swell like 30 cent. U might wonder there is no 30 cent. Yes . It was. Size bigger than 20 cent and smaller than 50 cent.

Before present directly to specialist, i consulted a panel clinic in Desa Setapak, Clinik Low. She is very kind and geng. For your information, this clinic is third clinic i went. First was KL central poly clinic - a female Malay doctor (on second day this event happened ), second was a surgery clinic in Desa Setapak - an Indian female doctor ( on fifth day this event happened). Both of them said this will cure very slow and they give me Painkiller and Pappain tablet (reduce swell).

OK..fine. For the first, i believed her. She said it might get well itself.
I bare the pain for every second. Throbbing sensation from the pressure in the thumb. Typically at night. I barely can sleep well because too pain. Painkiller doesn't help me much. Periodically. But i believed her tat it will get well soon.

Who know, the swell and blood grow from day to day until like tat..

So, i plan to see specialist after talking with my family and tom.

OK lo. In order to claim, i hv to confront to GP clinic to get a referral letter.
Out of my expectation, this Chinese female doctor said that she wanted to poke one hole on it, instead of asking me back home and take antibiotic. Very happy, of course, i do not need to go any specialist.

She use a hot needle and poke on my nail. Squeeze all the clogged and sticky blood out without few minutes. It's done.

Ganesan Wedding

A very busy weekend again. Spent my saturday and Sunday morning with Tom and the others in dongzen to mark the exam paper. It was the first time Tom go to dongzen with me. Many people said he looks like my brother. In fact, he wasn't :)

On sunday, after rushing back, Mr. Today rushed to Subang Jaya to attend his colleague wedding: Ganesan's wedding.

We received his invitation card about few weeks ago if i didn't make any mistake. In fact, he had held his formal and grand wedding in India. Tonight will be the a dinner with all the other people who didn't attend india :)

Before the ceremony start, of sure we did cam whore :)

This was our office next potential couple who is going to marry. We all are waiting for their invitation card desperately.

Here was the duel. Walking happily on the walkway with bless from everyone.

There were few slide shows on Ganesan when he was small, as well as Sethu when she was small. Thinking back where they were, how they meet, and where they had visited. They were so sweet.. The ceremony was intercepted with cutting cake ceremony. Although it was a simple ceremony, but it meant a lot. It indicated that the couple had a commitment to each other in the next half of life, together with We were served with vegetarian and non vegetarian buffet. Luckily, we didn't hv to proceed to BKT (Bak Kut Teh) near by the subang jaya .

It was a quick dinner, unlike chinese wedding. We finished the dinner. Thinking there were something left out. We wanted to heat the couple up for this cold night. Therefore we started a "Yam Seng" session at the end.

Ganesan was already known that we were going to something bad on him when we asked him to lift up the cup high. Suddenly, we all shouted like Mad-Cow ... .

YAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM...SEENNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Cheryl sound was the sharpest and highest among us due to her high frequency voice. Fortunately, my spec was not crack by that. We ended up with laughs and wishess. No doubt, we filled the atmosphere with the enthusiasm and warm that you would never experience if you were not BT staff, specifically our MAD COW gang :)

Alas, we left Ganesan and his wife to be dual again for the later part of show. Good luck and enjoy, Esan.

Cousin Wedding

Is the first time Mr.Today attend a wedding with own SLR.

Of course, it is fun to having SLR to shoot my lovely cousin= See Gee.

In short, I've become "sister" group, since i was in bride side.
I didn't shoot any photo on the playing brideroom session because i was busying playing playing brideroom n his guards too.

I was free to take photo only after the session. Feed ur gold eye with Mr.Today cousin's wedding photos.
My grandma who is going to drinking second cup of grandchildren wedding tea, smile till the eyes form a line.

We shot and sweat for almost 1 hour under the hot sun. Nonetheless, when looked back at the photo, it was worthwhile.

When we were in brideroom house, near INTI penang.

A fan was placed in between bride's scarf and brideroom's coat, so that they could 开枝散叶。

This photo is full of feel.

A full day camera-man costs 2k. Bu Mr.Today does not cost a cent. Feel free to call me help you shoot photo. :) I wont charge u :P

Night dinner was held at Sunway Hotel at Seberang Prai, Penang. Overal evironment was great. You could see the decorations of the hall. It managed to accomudate till around 45 tables before it was too pack.

Main host table. Noted that the table is counted as one table in the account later on, which were different from other hotel where the host table was given free. The banner was not included in the package. It was brought by us seperately.
As usual, 1 opening and 6 courses were served, including a dessert.

Both of them were accountants. They fall in love while using calculator together.. LOL..

This was how the journey of love started.

Today was a special day for someone Someone who had been there when we were not Can say she was in Ice-age world, while now is Human world Today was her day that she wanted to stretch her wings to another world, may be another galaxy to search for her new sky. Bunch of us, who had been shaded from her wings directly or indirectly, gathered together for her last flight. 17 of us, spared our time in Amarin Thai.

Here was our main charactor today: See Leng (in purple dress). The big gal who sat beside Azalea (red-purple dress) . Some pre-history of her. She came from JSHS before, which was my senior. She came from MMU too. Could say that was my senior for Secondary and University. Nonetheless, i nvr met her before. :) Ok. Back to the food in Amarin. While waiting the food to be served, as usual, we spent time cam-whoring :)

The charactor of the day was asked to have short speech today. She was quite a sentimental person. She managed to hold her cry at Amarin as she was asked to give her speech. She thought " ei? that's all... Yedah yeah. I didn't cry"

We still had other plan to make her cry

This was our mission objective.

For the exit handover, we succeded.

We sang songs, put a stream of photos that shown her walked through in her 7 to 8 years from an intern to a senior researcher.

Step by step, she climbed. We gave flowers...gifts...

we gave our truthful hearts

With the jokes and lame, it filled in whole lab.

困难让人成长

凡事都是靠努力，才有好收成。
来自貧民窟的他，为了梦想，为了爱，为了理想，不惜跳下粪池，不畏困难。

当哥哥的，虽然为了金钱所困，还好还有亲情所在。一再一再的维护弟弟，也不惜为他而牺牲。
可恶的一面，也有善良的面孔。

贫苦与富贵等级大的国家，未免能让全国民能丰衣足食。
抢劫，放火，强奸，偷窃等各社会问题无所不在。
但也成了大家为生活努力的目标。

曾经听过：台湾的蜜蜂比马来西亚／新加坡的蜜蜂群劳。蜜糖也比较甜。
研究生曾从台湾进口蜜蜂，尝试侍养和提炼出同样等级的蜂蜜。第一个月的成绩的确令人满意。可是，日久以来，进口的蜜蜂和本地的蜜蜂没两样，怠后了许多。
是否在台湾，因为有四季的变化，所以蜜蜂都会在春天特别的努力。可是，一项都是春天的马来西亚，都是地好风好的地方，怎么这里的蜜蜂会这么的懒惰呢。。

地方清幽反而让人堕落。相反的污岁的泥才能有莲花的存在。

想想，自己也怠慢了很多。真是惭愧。

Ham Yuu Lou vs Tau-fu Lou

The next few parts are the story between "hamm-yu-lou" and "tau-fu-lou"

In this world, many people sell salted fish. Why? Because high demand and low supply. Selling salted fish can drive you a Merz.

Not other fish o.. ONLY IS SALTED FISH

They are very professional, even my CEO in UK also not that professional. They arrange their "stall" very neatly and systematically. Not even ONE fish scale is noticeable.

Every one praise of their profession. "GOOD".."BRAVO".."WELL-DONE".."ICHIBAN"
In fact, everyone didn't notice their real face. Because they have mastered CHINA "MAsk Changing" technique.

In fact, when they have thrown all their mask. It is as uglier as “如花”

They collect all the fish scales and push to "Tau-fu-lou" stall. ps: Tau-fu-lou is someone who sells "tau-fu"

Kesian the tau-fu-lou. He has already bared the smelly fish everyday without any complains and need to help the "hamm-yu-lou" to clean the rubbish. No choice lo. He can't choose not to move the stall. He can't complain to anyone. He can only write bloggg.. LOLL He is very curious why hamm-yu-lou behaves like tat. Is it because this is his "profession"?

There are lot of successful stories. You mind want to share with them.

Case 1
A weird housemate has a weird way in cleaning wash room. I can hear the "SIK-SOK" sounds every time he uses the toilet. Initially, i was so happy and thought this housemate was so hardworking. However, i released the toilet was still so dirty and i knew something was wrong.

You know what do he wash?

"He only cleans the walk-way from the toilet door to basin"

You can see an obvious path made him.
I don't know why.

On the other hand: When i peep into his room. DAMM. His room is even cleaner and neater than mine. Why??

Case 2
I learned a classic proverb from my ex housemate.
He said that "I still can tolerate this kind of dirty. As long as the toilet can use. It is OK "

I sweated like a dog sweat at a hot afternoon. Speechless.

On the other hand: His study table, laptop, and keyboard are as clean as new item. NOT EVEN one dirt was noticeable. Why??

Case 3
People who simply throw rubbish, cigarettes buds, and satay cucuk..macam macam ada! As old as a grandfather, as young as kid with 1 row of teeth... WHY?

Are they SAKAI?? Means not educated?
ps:The Semang are a Negrito ethnic group of the Malay Peninsula. Lowland Semang tribes are also known as Sakai. ...

Case 4
After use a tool or an accessory, some people never put back the original place that they take it! i.e. in the gym weight carrier.

WHY??

Escape from City: PEsta Bunga

After enjoyed few days with all the freedom, Mr.Today life has became more tighten with office and personal works. Due to two new interns which directly work with me has become one of my responsibilities to guide them and nanny them. DOnt worry. I wont baby-feed them. I rather like to teach them how to fish although it will be small fish as "ikan bilis".

I fancy on the blue scenery especially the soothing waterfall sound beating the rocks as tapping gently on little babe shoulder. Fancy on the emerald giant tree and cuttie plant as their are whispering and 38 with each other. Fancy on the chirping bird calling their mate name.

It is the coincident that everyone of us are together. Sure go out wet la.. takkan stay at home planning mushroom and feeding fish :P

Qiang qiang qiang. Here is it We are at Penang Bridge. I wonder that you know that Touch&Go give 20% discount for the toll fee if you use Touch&Go card. In orde. Rr word, instead of 7 dollar, u pay 5.60. LOL. You can go order one ice-kacang d. Right.

Car here, car there, car everywhere. Penang people are so rich. Except me ( different case). They wont car pooling. They wont give you an excuse. They will only say "WALAu-e.. An nee pun beh hiaoo4"

Botanic Garden is already full of people flow. Don't need to say with this Flower Festival. Sure 38 ppl like me will go there just to have a look even though want to swim across from mainland to island.
Many weird exhibits are shown in the temporary set-up tent. It is HUGE, u know. As big as my thumb. If my interns curi-ayam in office, i can just swing this over.. Wahahaa.. Sure the ayam is belonged to me afterword.

Wow.. This very "sai lei" loo.. Like a bomb, which is used by the US in the WW2. There are still other tree but i didn't take. like Tongkat Ali plant la.. I believe many people drink tongkat ali b4 (but not apply for me, cos I didn't need it, as i m strong in nature d) , but they didn't know how the tree looks like. Please google it :P

My father once was an orkid fever fan. But now, is only same like u and me.
There are lot of scientific name on the flower. Too high-technology already. I can't remember. As i know, they are all orkid.. Seems like a donkey with a diamond, which is no different with other stone.

Dont know what is this called. But oftenly seen in the plantation area. Next is my favourite plant - the warrior of the sand : Cactus. I have one question about the colour. I wonder it is natural? or being sprayed on it. Anyone?

Instead of wild cactus with lot of torns, i like gentle cactus with only few torn.. like these. Just like alluvera. You can cook them after this. Another plant monster that i observed is this.. Look like a "Kraken" is taking over the "Black Perl".. WAOUUUUUU..

The entrance to the highlights on that day show. It is really a spacious area to exhibit all the stars.
Why i say they are stars? You see.. below are just a decoration. Not a star at all.
Well, they are jus like the dancers around the singer. With them, the singer will be looked abstractly attracting. Without them, the singer shine can't be contrasted.
Here here, dont waste time anymore. Here was the competition of Adenium and Bonzai. All of the adeniums photos that are posted here were the price owner of that day. Look at it.. So beutiful. An adenium with bloody red flower.

Seems like all the flowers were twinkles around the tree. Unbelievable. It is really outstanding. The colour of the flower are mixed with pink and white.

Every people are stunned with their mouth opening big. Speechless. I believe the owner of this plant has put a lot of affords.

The second runner up of the overall adenium. U see, the flowers are different than the ordinary that aunty plant outside of the house.

Next few photos are the champion and runner-up of different species of adenium. They were categorized and competed in different group. Please shower you eye with such beautiful lady with their unique natural gowns.

The colours of flowers and shape of the body were different from each other. None of them were identical. Just like human.

This flower in chinese is "Chicken Shit" flower .. " 鸡粪花 " Izzit it look like chicken shit? I wonder there is cow shit or donkey shit flower. ANyone? :P

Here, the BONZAIIIII....

As i know the shape of bonzai were bent with help of wire. So, i feel this is compete on the technique of the owner on their shaping of bonzai. That's all. But some were really nice.
Similary, there are few species of bonzai, there are categorized with the scientific name each.

This bonzai look like a huge rain forest tree which will cover up the sunshin. But, unfortunately, it has been "striped" into botak :P hohoo..

This looks like a runner was starting up to run in Olympic with his spiky hair.. Look alike right?
This is another species of bonzai. It seems like was twisted so hard until the skin has been peeled up. LOL
I found out seems like all the trees orientations were toward a direction. Except this, which was the champian. This tree looks very macho and smart. With all the spirit and power that it has.
None of the people didn't shoot photo with phone camera, compact camera and also dslr. Shoot ar ..shoot ar.. then the tree keep do posting.
Another type of bonzai is minature bonzai.

Can i own one of this? :P This is realy 山明水秀景如畫....
Nice to have, but hard to maintain.

Another type of bonzai, known as 水梅。 I've read artical about this. Know that the scent of flower is very nice, but then, i smell nothing at the spot. Probably the smell has been stolen all before me. Surely will take potrait photo

Although it was late few days to eat this but i was still feel sweet

Yeah. My mom made it. I could taste it finally.

I was not selling dumpling and said my dumplings were superb. This dumpling was not oilly, no artificial flavour and NO FATTY MEAT AT ALL...It is so healthy.
The dumpling was not made of glutinuos rice 糯米 which was very filling and not suitable for people who has stomach problem. This was made of brown rice 糙米
which is suitable to eat even in the morning. :)

Yeah la. Now u know how i maintain my reputation so hard. People always envy on my reputation and ask how i obtain that. Normally i will just answer "EAT WATEVER THING UR MOM PUT INTO UR MOUTH",

Many people worry that will gain weight or over calories after eating dumpling due to the fatty meat and duck egg. Well, if like tat, you must try this. 100% you will not grow horizontal.

Istana Budaya

After almost two years stayed in Wangsa, I never stepped into Istana Budaya before even though is so near. Every day just passed by until last sunday. Yeah. I'm glad to have the opportunity to attend the musical in Istana Budaya in the meantime as an event helper on the behalf of FGS.

I arrived 9.00 in the morning while all the creatures in the world are still sleeping. Sure that i grab the change to snap around :)
Istana Budaya which is strategically located in Titiwangsa, in KL city, and convenience achievable via star LRT and Monorail (direct from KL Sentral), Rapid KL (direct from KL Sentral). After stopping at Titiwangsa stations, only need 5 mins to arrive here by hopping into a frequent feeder bus.

Remember come to find me yeah if you are there :D My house is just 15 mins away.

Istana Negara is remarkable by the design of the building itself. Pointing blue roof is the sign that you have arrived the destination.

The last of performance was 10 years ago, will the group gain experience and improve their skill? It was reported that 1300 thousand computer effects were being used during the show. Do you agree?? :) Let's ask those who has watched it.

For the show, i felt that the effects and dancing are perfect. However, couldn't judge on the view of book. Within 2 hours, can't expect they cover everything. On the view of audience, yes it is perfect.

About the effects, i was wondering what computer effects or cloth design were used to have the effect of seperating the stage up and down. I was really stunned on that ..haha.. After that only realise the middle of the stage can move up and down. LOLLL

Nonetheless, next week will have Prince Siddharta The Musical in Istana Budaya. I will take my camera there :)

But one question raised by my mom, the children understand what you teach mer? So deep...

Why not. We've simplified and taught in easy word. Children will easy to understand. Nonetheless, if he couldn't absorb all, even if only absorb 0.001%, the 0.001% of seed will eventually grow into a tree someday.

Nfs Wesak Part 2

That day was a fine day, weather is just nice, neither too hot or raining. This was probably due to Buddha know everybody will celebrate Wesak happily that day and gave us a cloudy day.

NFS a.k.a 南方寺 was decorated with flags and fulled with tents, which were set up for the food fair. Since early in the morning 8am, the crowds were huge straying around food tents, hunting for foood..

I couldn't control myself and kept swallowing saliva. Luckily wasn't overflow from my mouth, else everyone would look at me with a queer eye.

Let's start with this which caused my saliva dropped on my hand. :P ... "ROJAK" .. my hometown favorite food, which consisted of many ingredients, such as mango, taufu, creepy fried taufu skin, cucumber, pineapple. The main factor of this is the "SOURCE". Once the source is superb, no matter what do u add, it will be superb. Proud of Penang Rojak as a Penang-kia --> ME.. :D

Volunteers from all around the area, helped to serve the food with their sweet smile. No need to look at the food, u also can feel the food is nice to eat :)

Did you notice their aprons? Quite nice right and professional. Actually i'm quite proud that could wear up volunteer shirt. :) Next group of people was selling economy rice, mee, mihun.

You could see volunteers, which ranged from as young as teenagers to as old as ah-ma and ah-gong, putting on their hands and legs together to do this together. Is quite good right, can sell things with friend, family members, how nice if i can sell thing together with my mom :(
Since next day is Mother's day. I'll talk nonsense and non-stop all the way. sigh..

Another favorite food of mine: "Oil Fried Ghost" which literally convert from : 油炸鬼. Remember when i was in uni, when there was pasar malam, sure i will buy two pieces of this, especially the type with sesame. Even 1km away also can smell it. My nose is better than a cat..see..

Hoho.. this is the tent that most people visited : Economy rice . A variety of food, like vegetarian bakut-teh, yum-cake, tong-sui (糖水)，mixed vegetables and curry.

You can see the "crowd" from their level of "oil" on their face. Salute. The more "oil" meant they served until non-stop and vise versa. Correct right :) This is my theory...hahaa..

Ou yeah. He named himself as prince corn. In his tall, he sold corn, variety of pau and 馒头。His smile really like Uncle Corn right，so sweet.

They made with full of patient and heart. Each of them look like make from machine right? See? Not like us, some is big, some is small, some is square.. =.="

Besides food, there were still drinks: cincao, lime, and 珍珠奶茶. Mr.Kum taught me mixed cincao with lime.. Haha.. First time try, but yeah.. nice. You can try.

Except food, there were still souvenirs: big and small. Targeted to buy for mother. In the meantime you spend the money for charity, can also buy for mother as present. Even though is small but is meaningful. Can say is "double-shoot" :) Ou yeah. This sentence quoted from Mr. Kum. I will show u his DJ photo next :)

It has been quite sometime for not updating this due to many many reasonss..

Lucky for me, i went to NFG 南方寺, which is sited in Klang last weekend.

For those people who doesn't know about NFS, it is a brunch of FGS (Fo Guang San) 佛光山 locally and internationally.

There are a series of activities held in May. For example 1st week of May is Buddha Car parade and 2nd week of May is Charity Food Fair in conjunction with Wesak Day, 3rd week of May is Charity Walk (Walkaton) in Shah Alam.

There were lots of activities carried on by BLIAYouth in NFS, while i was jus a photographer during the whole session.

I will show the main focus here first, which happened in 大雄宝殿: Buddha Bathing（浴佛）。I would like to continue the rest with mandarin.

《浴佛》

通过浴佛，由此而净化“身，口，意”　三业，　也就是‘做好事，说好话, 存好心’’。　

《诚心》

正确的浴佛是 3 酌：由小太子的右肩（1酌），到左肩（1酌），再回到右肩（1酌）。　

《发愿》

也可发愿：愿断一切恶，愿修一切善，誓度一切眾生。

从小而种下善根，所谓“学佛的孩子不会坏”。

布施是给自己的。这是布施的一种：“财布施”。

Besides this, during the day, there are food fair, children drawing competition, and copying sutra.
You could see face of every volunteer playing their parts happily eventhough is tiring, but their hearts are smiling.

Jalan Pasar, is also known as heaven of engineers. Every engineers must get at least a chance stand on this place with own foot. Why??

Because here is famous of electronic components and gadgets, such as sensors, register, switches, flip-flop, LED, transistors n bla bla bla..

A new mall has been built along the road, which is tempting city-boy like me to walk rather than heating under the sunnn...

TV/ Audio Controllers..Nonetheless, it is not suprise that Jalan Pudu has become a flee market which is full of pirated and forbidden items.

The picture i showed above is "guai guai zai" like me one.

What i mean of forbidden item is -> strong-man-pills(viagra) [comes in different package] , porns CD, condoms with weird packages, vibrators for women, sex toys, and etc.

I wish to take photo on those, but i scare of being chased and beaten up to Wangsa Maju afterwords... Who will come to save me :P

When walk till the end, i realised one of the attraction of Jalan Pudu is selling fish. All types of fish, gold fish, guppy, betta(fighting) fish, tortoise, japanese fish, belut, so on and so forth. Lots of stalls are stacked with small buckets and plactics exibits their cheap sale.. Look..

Sek Hou Timesquare

Yo.. is time to blog again. Walking around Timesquare wondering what to eat, no to fastfood, no to Hk food, no to japanese food (wanna vomit), no to korean food. Suddenly spotted this show "石好" .

Venue: Timesquare, near the GSC cinema
Price : 7/10. It is reasonable around the area. Won't expensive.
Food : 9/10 . The shop is full of new food that you would like to try. There are 5 Treasures in the shop that you must try. Look down..

Here, the first treasure: Hundred-Flavor Tea. I dinn try this time. Will try next time :P Saw people order that, quite delicious.
